Dr. Eithan Haim and his counsel Marcella Burke (James Wilson Fellow 2014) will present on his experience fighting a transgender ideology within certain hospital systems. Dr. Eithan Haim, a general surgeon and former resident at Texas Children's Hospital, exposed transgender procedures being done on children after the hospital agreed to stop them. Since Dr. Haim's exposure of these practices, he was subjected to a highly atypical, unexpected, and aggressive federal investigation and faced threats of prosecution for a case involving "medical records." Dr. Haim and Mrs. Burke will share with us both about the abuses of the medical system and the targeting he has experienced as someone who has tried to put a stop to it.
